ODUNBAKU GRILLE™ AUTHENTIC SUYA RECIPES:

There are various ways to use suya spice. It was created mainly for beef; however, it’s been modernized and is now used on ALL PROTEINS, including lamb, chicken, shrimp, lobster, fish, smoked turkey, and even vegetables, such as potatoes, asparagus, mushrooms, and we don’t stop there… fruits (watermelon, pineapples, and pickles) and nuts (cashews and almonds)! Yes, it’s made with all organic ingredients, it’s gluten-free, keto-friendly, and vegan. Veer off from GMOs, MSG, and chemically produced products and enhance your meals with Odunbaku Grille™ Authentic Suya Spice and Odunbaku Grille™ Rosemary Garlic Blend!

Ingredients You’ll Need:

  1. Odunbaku Grille™ Authentic Suya Spice
  2. Odunbaku Grille™ Rosemary Garlic Blend
  3. Avocado/Canola oil
  4. Fresh Red Onion

DIRECTIONS:

1. Add Odunbaku Grille™ Rosemary Garlic Blend and Odunbaku Grille™ Authentic Suya Spice to your proteins/veggies.

2. Base with canola/avocado oil, mix evenly, and let it marinate in the fridge for a minimum of 30min – 1 hr. Marinate overnight for optimal results.

3. Cook proteins or veggies to your liking and then add more of the Odunbaku Grille™ Authentic Suya Spice and top it with fresh red onions for a burst of flavor. Enjoy!

Equipment You’ll Need:

  1. Fire Grill (best taste)
  2. Grill pan (best for indoor grilling)
  3. Air Fryer/Oven (best for poultry, fish, and lamb)
  4. Frying Pan
  5. Bowl
  6. Refrigerator (to marinate meat).

RECOMMENDED TYPE OF MEAT/ CUTcould be used on any meat or veggie, but here are our recs:

Beef: Top Sirloin or Flank

Chicken: Thigh, Fish: Salmon

Shrimp: Jumbo/ U13-15,

Lamb: Chops

Turkey: Whole Smoked Turkey Thighs/ Legs/ Wings

  • Prep for fire grill: Melt 3 tablespoons of butter or oil and add 2 tablespoons of Odunbaku Grille suya powder to the butter to base the meat on each side, whilst on the fire grill only.

TO GRILL: You can use a gas/coal grill, grill pan. Add a tad bit of oil/oil spray to coat the grill/ grill pan prior, and heat the pan/fire grill for about 2- 3 minutes. Keep the temperature between medium and high. Add meats to the fire grill/pan and cook to your liking (shrimp 8 – 10 min, beef 12 -14 min, and chicken 16- 20 min).

Note: You can add melted suya butter (for fire grill only) to base the meat on each side whilst grilling.

GRILL PAN DEMO:

After the meat is cooked to your liking, turn the stove/pan/grill off and then add as much Odunbaku Grille™ Authentic Suya Spice as you would like to top it off. Then ADD SLICED, FRESH RED ONION FOR A BURST OF FLAVOR!

**NOTE: This is a smoked spice. Please apply Odunbaku Grille™ Authentic Suya Spice after the cooking device is off the fire or it will produce a lot of smoke.

AIR FRYER/OVEN DEMO:

Make sure to prep as listed above, for red meats set the air fryer to 390 degrees for 14 – 16 minutes, depending on how well you would like your meats. Chicken: Set the air fryer to 380 degrees for a minimum of 20 minutes, and for crispy chicken wings: Set the air fryer to 380 degrees for 30 min. For Fish/ Shrimp: 390 degrees at 9-10 min. Once cooked, top it off with more Odunbaku Grille Authentic™ Suya Spice and Red Onions (For a burst of flavor).

VEGETABLES: Top with Odunbaku Grille Rosemary Garlic Seasoning. Cook/Grill/Bake/Fry veggies to your liking and top with Odunbaku Grille™ Authentic Suya Spice.

OTHER SUYA DISH IDEAS: Suya Tacos, Suya Burgers, Suya Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Chimmi Suya, SuyaMole, Suya Salads, etc.

Chichen Suya Salad

Suya-Mole – Suya + Guacamole and tortilla chips.

Chimmi-Suya – Suya + Chimmichurri.

FRUITS/NUTS: Slice/Cut fruits as you please, squeeze lime juice on top and add as much Odunbaku Grille™ Authentic Suya Spice on top!

Odunbaku Grille™ Rosemary Garlic Blend: This seasoning can be used on its own. You can marinate meats or veggies as listed above without the suya spice. It’s simply made to perfection.

PREP: Add Odunbaku Grille™ Rosemary Garlic Blend to meats/ veggies and top with oil of your choice (references listed above). For meats, marinate for a minimum of 2 hours. Cook as needed. (Cook Time and Devices Are Listed Above.)
